Very sturdy. Love there wont be rust with the stainless steel. Very easy to installWe installed this after remodeling the master bathroom. I was skeptical about it holding up and working properly. After hanging it and installing curtains, i was impressed. It is sturdy and looks great. The middle brace adds to the look and adds a lot of support.Cut easily and fits perfectly. Nice brushed finish. Definitely looks nicer than the cheapo chrome ones you see at the bath stores. It's perfect for the shower I have. I needed a right angled shower rod and this one is exactly the right size.Very flimsy. 2 screws hold the whole thing up to the ceiling. And those support a plastic ring, that is expected to carry the full weight. Only fits a certain height ceiling. Mine is over 8ft, so the curtain rod must be placed very low ... much lower than shower head. Stupid! Who wants to look over the top of their shower curtain? And most people have lower ceilings than I, so you'd have to use it even lower.I considered cutting the support, but couldn't find an adequate tool, and local hardware and metal shops declined.Great idea, but lousy design and materials. There's not much to say - it's a good quality curtain rod with a ceiling mounted piece that keeps it from sagging, and its attractive.Absolutely beautifully forged, and hangs nice and solid. I highly recommend getting this at the proper size to hang a curtain over your bath tub. This worked perfectly for our corner shower in our mud room! Easy to install and attractive too.
